Disco Inferno.
One wild night.
Went out in the evening with my long time church friend, amos. His uncle brought me and him to have dinner at clark quay and drinking after that. Quite unique that his occupation is a tattooist, never really been inside a tattoo room before so it was a interesting experience. Then went to eat indian food at Clark Quay, food was real hot & spicy and the rice was somewhat different, it was like plain prata, pretty cool with different flavours like butter, cheese and garlic. Finished eating around 10.45pm, went to drink at the queens bar, the former hendrix. Was already feeling sleepy and having a slurring on my words by my 3rd mug of beer so i asked my friend to help me finish which he willingly obliged. Was around 12 when i was feeling quite tired and so we decided to catch a taxi back. Also had an interesting talk with the taxi driver, told me about his experiences as a taxi driver for 10 years. haha~ from runaway customers to ghostly encounters, so absorbed by his stories that i told him to drive slowly and take the longer route home. haha~which im sure noone would do it. Well, for a recap of the night, i don't think pubbing or clubbing is my cup of tea, i feel uneasy about the atmosphere and loud music, people congregating together, smoking and drinking together with all the hanky panky stuff. Well,Thats just my point of view.
Day after tomorrow
Day after tomorrow.
Well, well, well, Looks like its Chinese New Year time. Heehaww. I'm beginning to kinda feel that people see "cny" as a holiday rather then an old tradition. It's like the same thing every year, like a ritual. Anyway, i went back to my old sec school on the eve of "cny" and had a short talk with some of my former teachers there. Mr tock..Charlie sng... . New school looks good and ready to be vandalised by its new occupants in the later year, just as we had done to the " older new building". Saw the movie constantine after that, storyline was abit complicated for me but i felt that it was a not too bad movie. Keanu once again acts as the cool guy... as in the matrix. haha . Reunion dinner was... like any normal dinner, and so.. it feels like any other day. hah~ i also felt that i received lesser hongbaos this time, alhtough not really surprised by that. So once again, the holidays would be over like a gust of the wind and people would have to get back to their studying or work or slack , whatever commitments they have. There has to be more purpose and meaning in life then that. I'm feeling rather jaded by the long holidays , as its kinda boring doing nothing at home daily. At least i've learnt 1 thing , It's not too good to have too much of something, even if its a good thing.

Well, given my loong holidays, i started to ponder over 2004. Thinking back about the past events and happenings around me. Me and my classmates . Things i used to do. All the crazy and wierd stuff. Won't forget my school , class, schmates......... haii.. Practically spent half of my life after school in the art room whether doing art or not. My class is really one crazy bunch of people. Really one-of-a-kind. As un-united they may be, they never fail to bring me pain,laughter,joy... . Their "Garang" attitude is what amazes me the most. ahhaha~ hmm.... Pontanging sch to go Macs & come back sch later, embarassing themselves by chasing and loud talking with one another, "offing" the staff toilet light when miss ong was inside, quarelling and fighting with one another in class *leipeng & Grace* + * Nazira & Nadir*, helping one another out *shakeeeeee* dun say we never help you ah, Skipping classes when its so near the "o's" our record of absent ppl is 11, which is insane.... still, i personally felt that 2004 was a boring and disappointing year for me, especially when i took my "Os" abit too lightly, *sighh* now i can only hope & pray that everything would go well. Yea. till then, happy chinese new year in advanced~!
