And the winner is....... Hady Mirza~! Results show was full of performances by taiwan band Energy and local talents such as electrico, tanya chua,taufik.... As expected, hady is the winner of singapore idol 2 winning by a landslide victory marked by 70 per cent of some one million votes. Let's see how far he will go from here now.
Went down to watch S'pore Idol today since i could get free tickets, people are selling tickets at forums for $120!! because you can't buy them. Atmosphere was really loud and there were lots and LOTS of teenage GIRLS screaming for their favourite contestant. oOoOo.... also, there was this radio dj the muttons from 987fm that was there as mc's and one of them was talking halfway and FELL OFF THE STAGE!!! People watching tv can't see it because it was during commerical break. Ok.. it was actually quite amusing.
Last sat, went zouk as i had invites, the night was so-so as there was not any guest dj spinning, saw s'pore idols hady, jon leong and nurul there too. Went Velvet to chill out as they usually play house music and the people there are generally older, you have to be 23 and above to enter. Main Arena was average, saw those transexuals at MoS the last time, watch out for them guys!!! They're damn sexy but NOT girls.
Went for Sho'down at MoS on thurs as i had invites for the event, the beatbox competition was average, it came to a point where people were getting quite bored by it, after that it was music non-stop from hip-hop to the current R&B chart-toppers of today. Danced all the way tilled 3+ and went for supper after that, reached home around 6am and went for class at 8.30am.
I was walking around Pasir ris today and decided to take out my camera to snap some pictures. Sometimes, i wonder...... due to our busy work scheldue or hectic lifestyle, we tend to overlook the simple pleasures and wonderful creations of life. If only we would take a step slower or stop to ponder over the events take took place in our life , will we notice how fragile life can be.......... treasure it.
So today i went down to Old Changi Hospital to take pictures for one of my subjects. There is always much talk about places like these but you really have to see it for yourself to know what its like being there. The place looks old and rundown but you can see that it has been frequented by people through the litters been left behind. Nothing much happened except a loud door bang which was heard by my shakened friends.
Went to watch the S'pore vs China game as i can get free tickets, i decided not to go to the vip stand as i wanted to soak into the atmosphere of passionate and emotional fans cheering for our country. Turnout was not bad, probably after the Tiger cup victory, people are having more faith in our country's soccer team. The fans were not as rowdy as the previous mynammar game, probably due to seregation of sides and more families turning up, still there were pockets of fights going on.
People looking at some fights taking place Want to know what it's like being there LIVE?
Last fri was Deb's birthday, nice of her to book a room at the Swissotel where we stayed there to chill and celebrate her birthday. The room was at the 57th floor, which had a breathtaking view of Town and when you look from the top, everything just looks so near.
We were bored, so we decided to play Hide & seek, Close eye catching and Campfire!!! YAY! Lets all get drunk and wasted~! And... Terence wanted to know what it feels like to be those soccer fans to throw down toilet rolls...
